'One enterprise, one technology' propels innovation within enterprises
Recently, 18 companies in the Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park were chosen to join the ranks of "one enterprise, one technology" research and development center enterprises in Weihai, East China's Shandong province. This development has brought the total count in the Weihai Torch Hi-tech Science Park to 30 provincial and 68 municipal "one enterprise, one technology" R&D centers.
One notable example is Weihai Xinghaiyuan Fishing & Netting Tackle, which established an R&D center in 2020, proceeding to successfully execute 29 technology transformation projects. This center not only works on immediate production and operational technologies but also engages in proactive technological research and development, enabling the enterprise to ensure a sustained technological advantage for 3 to 5 years.
Another standout instance of unwavering dedication to innovation is the case of Weihai Hitai Electronics. While national standards deem an electric skateboard charger with a power conversion efficiency of 87 percent as acceptable, Hitai Electronics has achieved an impressive 93 percent. Additionally, the company has pioneered lithium-ion battery floating charge technology, ensuring optimal battery capacity with advanced safety features such as over voltage protection and temperature regulation. With a charging control accuracy of 0.75 percent, surpassing international benchmarks, Hitai Electronics has bridged the technological gap in China's lithium-ion battery floating charge sector, particularly in the realm of short-distance electric vehicles.
