Power supply company prepares for summer tourism peak in scenic areas in Shandong

State Grid Tai'an Power Supply Company staff members conducted inspections on charging stations near Jiunv Peak Scenic Area on June 6, in preparation for the upcoming peak summer travel period. They confirmed the normal operation of interfaces, optimal contact performance of charging guns, and stable current and voltage.

Jiunv Peak Scenic Area, a model for rural vitalization in Shandong province, has leveraged its beautiful natural environment to create a thriving economy, rich culture, and beautiful natural environment. Attractions such as high-end guesthouses, mountain libraries, camping, and live performances draw numerous visitors.

With the peak summer travel period approaching, Tai'an is set to welcome a large influx of tourists. The company has stepped up inspections of charging facilities to ensure the normal operation of charging stations, charging piles, and related equipment. It is also assisting customers with using the e-charging and State Grid apps for electric vehicle charging queries and order tracking, providing safe and efficient charging services to support travel.

"During the summer holidays, there is a major increase in the number of visitors, especially families with children seeking experiences in nature, and more people are choosing to travel by electric vehicle. The inspections by the company make charging more convenient for car owners and provide us with a secure business environment," said Yan Tingfu, a staff member at the scenic area.

To date, the company has completed inspections of 16 charging stations, 82 charging piles, and power facilities in popular tourist towns such as Daolang, Dawenkou, and Dajinkou, contributing to the development of the local tourism industry. (Edited by Yang Yi)
