Tech innovation soars: Gaomi company's collaboration with NUAA
Sunvim Electrical Machinery Co Ltd, based in Gaomi, Weifang, East China's Shandong province, recently inked a partnership deal with professor Cao Ruiwu's team from the College of Automation Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA).
"We will enhance our research on high-efficiency permanent magnet motor technology in collaboration with Sunvim Electrical Machinery. Our aim is to expedite the development of cutting-edge production capabilities, drive enterprise innovation, and advance to a more sophisticated level within the industrial chain," said Cao.

The cooperation builds upon previous successful endeavors, as Sunvim Electrical Machinery and NUAA previously collaborated on reluctance motor technology in 2021. Together, they resolved various technical challenges, leading to a reduction in costs and increased efficiency for the company. The ongoing cooperation had generated an impressive sales revenue of 180 million yuan ($24.81 million) by 2023.
Representatives from NUAA praised Sunvim's innovative initiatives and recognized the vibrant industrial ecosystem in Gaomi, emphasizing the city's strong innovative landscape.
