Gaomi reaps efficiency in harvesting
In Gaomi, 73,333.33 hectares of wheat recently matured, marking the start of the harvesting process in areas like Chaigou town and Baicheng town.

The spokesperson for the local farming cooperative announced that they have deployed over 10 large harvesters in more than 10 villages. Operators are instructed to focus on efficiency and quality by adjusting cutting height, maintaining optimal speed, reducing losses, and keeping the loss rate below 1 percent.

As the peak production period approaches, Gaomi plans to deploy over 10,000 sets of machinery, including 1,600 wheat harvesters, with 80 percent being modern, efficient equipment. Additionally, the city expects over 5,000 operators to engage in mechanized agricultural production to maximize output and streamline the harvesting process. (Edited by He Yuge)
