One remarkable story is the spinning workshop of Luyuan Textile Co Ltd, which has adopted automation to enhance efficiency and cut costs. Through the introduction of new machinery, the workshop has reduced its workforce from 80 to about 20 workers, reducing labor costs by over 6 million yuan ($827,386.87) and boosting productivity by more than 30 percent.

Gaomi has also made significant progress in implementing a special action plan for enhancing the digital empowerment of industrial enterprises. By partnering with platforms like Haier COSMOPlat, Gaomi has taken the lead in driving digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing efforts. This initiative involved nine rounds of surveys, benefitting over 100 enterprises. Additionally, Gaomi has set up nine smart factories and digital workshops at the municipal level.
These initiatives have produced remarkable outcomes, with Gaomi attaining a GDP of 15.37 billion yuan in the first quarter of this year, reflecting a growth rate of 7.1 percent. Additionally, there was an 11 percent boost in the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size. (Edited by He Yuge)
