Shandong firm eyes smart healthcare to seize market potential

Weihai Shengyang Medical Technology Co Ltd, located in the Weihai Torch Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Shandong province, has been pursuing innovation-driven development in recent years.

The company was founded by Cong Haisheng in March 2022. Within just two years, the flagship products Cong developed and produced have filled the market gap in this field domestically, demonstrating rapid development momentum.

The company's flagship product is a carbon fiber external fixation product, including a head ring that weighs only 125 grams. With a C-shaped structural design, it boasts high strength and strong fatigue resistance, meeting the needs of patients for activities like lying flat. The product fills the market gap for carbon fiber external fixation products domestically and offers a significantly higher cost-performance ratio compared to similar high-end external fixation consumables from abroad.

When it comes to competitors in the same field, Cong mentioned a digital diagnostic software system developed by his company.

"Through digital modeling, we have created a complete 'digital human,' allowing various structural tissues such as the human skeleton, muscles, and ligaments to be presented in a three-dimensional manner, greatly enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency," Cong said.

"Currently, there are few companies worldwide that have developed a complete 'digital human,' which is also our most valuable core product," Cong said.
