Cutting-edge technologies help Weihai firm win big in domestic market

Staff members at Weihai Jinfu Xinnuo New Materials Technology Co Ltd in Shandong province are busy on the production line delivering orders for a tiny piece of technology.

This technology, which measures less than 2 square centimeters, is the company's flagship product.

Gao Huaqiang, head of operations management at Jinfu Xinnuo New Materials, said the company just recently began to mass produce the product, which is primarily used in smart wearable devices. Despite its small size, it has brought in orders worth more than 10 million yuan ($1.38 million).

"This is a component that integrates insulation, conduction, and electromagnetic shielding. One side requires insulation treatment, while on the other side, you can see a very small edge, approximately 0.2 millimeters, requiring conduction treatment, and the black area needs to achieve electromagnetic shielding," Gao explained.

Developing a product like this is no easy feat. In the early stages of the company's R&D process, there were no similar products on the market, neither domestically nor internationally and no examples to draw from – so everything was developed from scratch. Faced with challenges, Jinfu Xinnuo concentrated the company's R&D backbone, overcame obstacles, and ultimately went from nothing to something, according to Gao.

At Jinfu Xinnuo, there are many high-grade, precision and advanced projects. As a technology enterprise specializing in the research and manufacturing of various high polymer materials, high-performance composite materials, optoelectronic materials, and more, and with 16 years of accumulated experience, the company now produces electronic components for four major areas: smartwatches, acoustics, televisions, and printers, gradually advancing into the top tier of the domestic industry.

The company has not only passed multiple system certifications but also obtained provincial certifications for specialized and new enterprises, becoming a supplier to companies such as Jabil, LG Display, Hisense, and GoerTek. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
