Children in Weihai turn waste into art

To further promote the concept of environmental protection and enrich the lives of young people in the area, Guangming community in Huancui district, Shandong's Weihai recently launched a tire painting DIY activity, inviting 25 families to participate.

As the activity began, the children excitedly gathered around the tires, choosing their favorite patterns and letting their imaginations run wild. The atmosphere on-site was both warm and enthusiastic, with close cooperation and collaborative creation between parents and children. Together, they carefully painted various patterns and colors on the tires. Before long, ordinary discarded tires were transformed into creative pieces of art filled featuring beautiful patterns.

"This kind of activity not only nurtures creativity among children but also helps them understand the concept of green environmental protection in a fun way. It is really meaningful, and we are happy to bring our children to participate in such activities", said a parent participating in the event.

The event not only allowed parents and children to engage in creative DIY, but also added a splash of color to the community.

Local authorities of Guangming community said that they will continue to organize such events, aiming to attract more residents to join in community construction efforts and share in the creation of a beautiful home.
