Longkou expands global trade, builds new partnerships
In May, an international precision procurement event for the machinery and food industries was held in Longkou, East China's Shandong province, attracting 135 buyers from 38 countries and achieving impressive results.
Longkou is leveraging its strongest industries to enhance foreign trade and create new platforms for local enterprises to engage with international buyers.
Highlighted industries included apples, machinery, and food. Longkou is the largest production base for aftermarket automotive brake components in China, with over 180 manufacturers producing over 260 types of products, meeting 90 percent of a vehicle's component needs.
Longkou has also developed an integrated production, processing, storage, and sales chain in five major areas: wine, grain and oil, fruits and vegetables, seafood, and livestock products, boasting several renowned food brands.

At Lvjie Co Ltd's table, a Pakistani buyer praised their apple cider vinegar and placed an order for 5,000 bottles. In the subsequent signing ceremony, five Longkou enterprises signed agreements with buyers from Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.
