Weihai selected as national pilot for TCM innovation
Recently, Weihai was announced as a national pilot zone for the preservation and development of traditional Chinese medicine.
The National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine revealed the first batch of such pilot zones, with a total of 54 areas identified nationwide.

Weihai is known for its pioneering efforts in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It has led the way in reforming payment methods for treating specific diseases and introduced the innovative traditional Chinese medicine daytime ward.
Furthermore, it has set up the country's first centralized distribution center for TCM decoction pieces, reinforcing its status as a leader in the field. (Edited by He Yuge)
