Linqu makes advancements in TCM and 'big health' industry

Linqu county, famous as the "hometown of Chinese medicinal materials", has been focusing on advancing new productivity in TCM. Through scientific cultivation methods, the county has been accelerating the development of authentic medicinal materials, high-quality Chinese patent medicines, and the Chinese medicine industry.
Innovative approaches have been employed to strengthen the branding of TCM, resulting in the creation of 72 varieties of health foods, beverages, and other products that integrate TCM, health, and tourism.
Linqu has established over 110 standardized Chinese medicinal material planting bases, cultivating 256 varieties of Chinese medicinal materials covering 10,000 hectares with an annual output of 160,000 metric tons, the highest in Weifang and among the highest in all of Shandong province.
During the conference, significant initiatives were unveiled, including the establishment of the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine's research center for new productivity of TCM, the National Famous TCM Yishan Station, and the science and technology innovation practice base in Weifang.
Additionally, contracts were signed for projects across various fields in the TCM and big health industry, encompassing medical care, health, and high-end equipment. (Edited by He Yuge)
