Weihai medical device industrial cluster ranks among top 100 in China

Weihai's high-end medical device industrial cluster recently made the prestigious top 100 list of China's private economic industry clusters in 2024.

The recognition comes from the 2024 Research Report on China's Top 100 Private Economic Industry Clusters, which extensively evaluates various clusters based on their development characteristics, regional distribution, cluster types, and future trends.

Weihai's high-end medical device industrial cluster stands out with some impressive figures -  over 200 pharmaceutical and medical device production enterprises, with 50 industrial enterprises operating at a large scale. These entities collectively generated a substantial operating income of 22.51 billion yuan ($3.11 billion) in 2023. (Edited by He Yuge)
