In recent years, the Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Binzhou ETDZ) in East China's Shandong province has been applying and developing the "Fengqiao model" for promoting community-level governance in the new era.

The zone has also promoted the integration of grassroots police work and rural governance, aiming to create a beautiful and livable village.

The zone's police stations and police offices have cooperated with local communities, enterprises, and village Party branches in Party building, constructing four high-standard police stations and seven Party building alliances.

Binzhou ETDZ has also guided community-level governance through Party building, improved primary-level Party organizations' capacity to lead primary-level governance, and improved the quality of public services in rural areas so as to boost the harmony and stability in rural areas, with residents living and working in peace and contentment.

In addition, Binzhou ETDZ has continuously improved its grassroots governance models, devised more solutions for conflict resolution and supported local residents' pursuit of a better life.

A volunteer team consisting of 680 people has been organized, which has performed a variety of daily tasks in rural areas and helped improve the efficiency of grassroots governance. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
