Shandong's county focuses on public mental health

Recognized as National Mental Health Day in China, May 25 is a reminder to cherish life and care for our well-being. On this special day, Wucheng county in Dezhou city, Shandong province, encourages people to love themselves, understand their mental state better, face life with optimism, and maintain a healthy mindset. 

Xiaobei Tree Hole, a mental health support platform in Wucheng, was established on June 10, 2020. It has a mental health education team consisting of one psychological care service team, 13 professional psychological counselors, and several social psychological care volunteers. Since its establishment, Xiaobei Tree Hole has arranged over 30,000 volunteer service activities, including online classes, psychological care hotlines, and exam support initiatives. These activities are all based on the principle of "patient listening, warm guidance". These diverse activities have attracted wide public participation, benefiting more than 400,000 people.
