The Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Binzhou ETDZ) in Shandong province has made continuous efforts to enrich the cultural lives of the people and enhance civility throughout society, aiming to improve the lives of residents and increase their sense of happiness.

The zone's Dudian subdistrict has set up in-person and online platforms for civilized practices, with a civilized practice center and 23 such stations having been built across the area.

Based on the needs of civilized practice activities and the demands of residents, Dudian subdistrict established five major platforms for theoretical preaching, educational services, cultural activities, scientific popularization, and fitness, forming a civilized practice matrix that promotes departmental collaboration, venue sharing, and mutual integration.

Dudian subdistrict has also developed and utilized the "I Love Dudian" civilized practice volunteer service platform, focusing on team building, resource exploration, and volunteer registration. Twenty-three volunteer teams have been registered, with over 1,600 individual registered volunteers. Furthermore, 24 Lei Feng volunteer service sites have been established, over 150 online activities have been launched, and regular volunteer points redemption activities are conducted.

By taking advantage of activities such as "Our Festival" and "Focusing on Improving Resident Satisfaction," a diverse range of activities are being organized to enrich residents' leisure and cultural lives. Various cultural events, such as traditional riddle guessing, Lantern Festival celebrations, and National Reading Week, have been successfully held to enrich the spiritual and cultural lives of residents in the area. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
