Grain Buds, or "Xiaoman" in Chinese, the 8th solar term of the traditional Chinese solar calendar, began on May 20 and will last until June 4 this year. It is the time when grain seeds become full but not yet fully ripe.
During this time, rainfall increases across the country, leading to abundant crop growth. In the demonstration area in Lingcheng district, Dezhou city, East China's Shandong province, fields of wheat take on a vibrant turquoise hue as they gradually mature, creating a picturesque scene.
