Courtyards in Shandong county boost rural vitalization

In Liulou town, situated in Dongming county, Shandong province, significant attention has been directed towards the enhancement of residents' courtyards. This endeavor is regarded as pivotal for improving the living environment and fostering rural vitalization.

At present, Liulou town has completed the construction of over 1,452 households, each boasting distinctive and aesthetically pleasing courtyards.

On April 11, during a selection event held in Dengwangzhuang village of Liulou town, 22 households were honored with the title of "beautiful courtyard" in a ceremony. This activity aims to inspire residents to maintain their enthusiasm for beautifying their courtyards, thereby contributing to the creation of a picturesque and harmonious village.

"The transformation in the village we relocated to is remarkable compared to the previous one. Cement roads now stretch in every direction, and gardens and fitness squares have been established, making the village clean and comfortable. This has significantly raised our awareness of sanitation. Currently, every courtyard in the village is tidy and well-maintained," said a villager who received the award.

The courtyards in the village, adorned with carefully arranged flowers and lush greenery, exude a lively and ecological atmosphere, showcasing the unique taste and creativity of their owners.

The lives of villagers have undergone significant positive changes, evident in the smiles that now grace their faces. One can sense the simplicity and tranquility permeating this place, where time seems to slow its pace.
