Shandong's county fosters child-friendly community

The women's federation of Dongming county, Shandong province, is dedicated to creating a child-friendly community. The federation is working to ensure ideal conditions for children to thrive in by setting up mini amusement parks, offering specialized services, and improving the living environment for the youngest members of the population.

In certain residential communities within the county, idle indoor and outdoor spaces are being transformed into diverse children's play areas. These spaces feature slides, swings, and various games, providing ample opportunities for children to engage in leisure and playful activities.

The county's kindergartens are also committed to establishing indoor spaces and outdoor playgrounds tailored to children's needs. The young students have been enthusiastically embracing new facilities such as indoor playhouses and reading corners, as well as outdoor features like multi-functional slides and miniature vegetable gardens.

The women's federation of Dongming county has also constructed child-friendly spaces primarily focused on educational services, fostering carefree and confident growth. Diverse specialized activities are also being carried out to enrich extracurricular learning and cultural experiences for children.
