The 2024 Bearing Industry Supply and Demand Integration Conference, coinciding with the Intelligent Manufacturing Cooperation Exchange Conference and the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Expo, kicked off on April 25 in Linqing, a county-level city administered by Liaocheng in East China's Shandong province. The conference focused on integrating the supply and demand of the bearing industry chain, emphasizing the intelligent and digital development of the industry. A total of 430 companies, including renowned domestic mainframe production enterprises and purchasers from across the country, participated in the gathering.

The bearing industry in Linqing has its origins in the 1970s. After more than half a century of reform and development, there are now over 100 enterprises above designated size here, with an annual output value of 20 billion yuan ($2.76 billion), and holding more than 640 invention and utility model patents. It has emerged as the most comprehensive, functional, and dynamic agglomeration area in the national bearing industry chain. In the 2023 comprehensive evaluation of characteristic industry clusters in Shandong province, the small and medium-sized bearing industry cluster in Linqing ranked among the top 10.

Currently, Linqing's bearing industry is undergoing high-quality development and is striving to build a world-renowned professional market for bearing trade. The city is committed to developing new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions, aiming to create a model for the development of the bearing industry.
