Books used as medium to promote Chinese culture

On April 17, at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" Sofia, Yao Yucang, an overseas cultural exchange ambassador from Dingtao district, Heze, Shandong, held discussions with Professor Sava Dimitrov, president of the Academy, regarding cultural exchange cooperation.
"On behalf of Dingtao district, we hope to present your institution with books on pinyin, Chinese poetry, and classic literature, and establish a Nishan Library," Yao said to Professor Dimitrov."We hope to strengthen cultural exchange between the two regions and build a friendship through books."
"We are very grateful for the book donations from China, and we are honored to be part of promoting cultural exchange between our two regions. Chinese culture is rich and vast, with a long history. After the establishment of the Nishan Library, our school's library will open to all citizens of Sofia and allow Bulgarian children to borrow Chinese books, helping them broaden their horizons," Professor Dimitrov expressed.
Dingtao District will accelerate the launch of the Nishan Library at the National Academy of Music and continue to organize follow-up reading and exchange activities. Through books, they will further enhance cultural exchange between the two regions. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
