Russia-China peony cultural exhibition event held

The Russia-China peony cultural exhibition event with the tagline "Heze city invites you to appreciate the blooming peonies" was held at Oryol State University in Russia from April 9 to 11.
The event was attended by the dean of the university's philosophy department, otherdepartment heads, renowned professors, teachers, and students. Mr Viktorovich, head of the Department of Applied Political Science at Oryol State University, delivered the opening speech.
The event showcased vibrant peony paintings and calligraphy, exquisite intangible cultural heritage items related to peonies, delicious peony-inspired cuisine, and lifelike peony photography. The event presented the grace and cultural significance of Chinese peonies, receiving widespread praise from Russian universities and overseas youth.
During the event, the affiliated Chinese school of Oryol State University and other organizations arranged for teachers and students to visit the exhibition, allowing them to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture and witness the arrival of spring and the blossoming of flowers.

In recent years, the cultural exchange activities in the city of Heze, Shandong province known as "Using flowers as a medium" have allowed the global "Z Generation" to better perceive and understand China.
This event, held on the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, will help enhance Russian students' understanding and knowledge of Chinese culture and peonies, making young people abroad new disseminators of Chinese culture.
