Qingyun county, in response to the needs of local people, has established community factories to provide better jobs for local residents.
Wang Na, a resident of Beihai community in Qingyun county, used to work outside her hometown. After the establishment of the community factory, she applied for a job there.
"I am very grateful to the community for providing us with this source of employment. Now, I am able to earn money while also taking care of my family. I can now work right next to home," Wang said.

The community factory currently employs people to process semifinished products such as embroidery, knitting, beadwork products, as well as to sew and process garments.
The county will focus on diversifying the range of products at community factories and providing targeted training to residents interested in employment. Through skills training and practical operations, the county will help women improve their employability, increase people's skills, broaden residents' income channels, and enhance people's overall wellbeing by allowing them to work close to home.
