Guanxian county in Liaocheng, Shandong province is sparing no effort to create a "smart brain" for the city, which has promoted the integrated and coordinated development of the local digital economy, digital government, and digital society.

The smart city brain system provides technical support and high-quality services for government services, digital economy, and other fields. It focuses on the online service needs of enterprises and the public, helping administrative approval departments to introduce intelligent approval service systems.

"With the smart city brain system enterprises just need to submitting three documents when applying for an investment project filing, and the progress can be checked via mobile phone at any time. It's really simple and convenient", said Gao Bo, the person in charge of the Shandong Gangrui Green Building Materials Industrial Park.

"To make it as easy as possible for the public to handle affairs, the local government, together with China Unicom, has jointly built a 'dual gigabit' digital township, connected government resources to the smart brain, and established a remote office platform for convenience service centers. Through the intelligent terminals, people no longer need to leave the village to handle affairs, and they can enjoy high-quality government services right at their doorstep", said Zhang Dongchang, Party secretary of Dongyangzhao village, Guanxian county.
