Lize sub-district in the Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shandong province has fully integrated its local strengths, namely agriculture, culture, and tourism, which has in turn contributed to the local rural vitalization process.

The sub-district has focused on the stunning natural scenery of the Yellow River and Xiaokai River, cultivating orchards and expanding the fruit-picking business. It has also built a number of high-standard strawberry greenhouses and fishing gardens. Greenhouses for grapes, persimmons, and small watermelons are being planned.

It is also leveraging its advantageous location by developing the Xizhifang scenic area in the old village of Xizhifang and its surroundings, forming a natural tourism resort themed on an ancient Yellow River village.

With a total planned area of 7.3 square kilometers, the tourism resort, located on the outskirts near the Yellow River, is an extension of the southern green belt of Binzhou and an important green corridor connecting the city's waters. It is committed to creating a tourist destination highlighting the coastal intertidal zone.

In addition, Lize sub-district has established an exhibition hall featuring Yellow River culture in order to deeply explore the value of Yellow River culture and tell the story of the Yellow River in Binzhou.

Through more than 500 photos and videos, as well as comprehensive displays of books, the exhibition uses documentary, landscape, contemporary, portrait, and aerial photography to tell story of the Yellow River in Binzhou. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
