China Beef Processing Innovation and Development Conference kicks off

The China Beef Processing Innovation and Development Conference and China (Yangxin) Beef Industry Expo took place on April 7 at Niuzhigu Industrial Park in Yangxin county, Binzhou city, Shandong province, aiming to enhance beef industry processing standards and ensure product quality and safety.

The conference began with a traditional Bangzi Opera. Wang Shurong, deputy head of Yangxin county, introduced the county's beef industry evolution.

Sun Baozhong, a researcher at the Institute of Animal Science of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), recently presented in a conference expounding upon the national beef and yak system. 

With the theme of "Good Cattle, Good Meat, Good Brand", the event provided participants a platform to explore cutting-edge technologies in beef processing and to engage in valuable business opportunities.

Yangxin county announced a strategic partnership with JD Group, aimed at leveraging new internet retail formats to bolster the regional brand "Yangxin beef ". The partnership also facilitated resource sharing for mutual benefit.

Yangxin county has established itself as a leading beef producer with an annual output of 280,000 beef cattle and a slaughter capacity of 1.2 million heads, positioning the county at the forefront of beef production nationwide.

In recent years, the county has made significant strides in sustainable beef cattle practices, promoting a green circular industry chain. This has helped boost the "Yangxin beef ", brand and established a model for green, high-quality development in the sector. (Edited by Lin Li)
