Spring boosts local economy in Shandong's county

As the warmth of spring spreads across Dongming county – located in Heze city in East China's Shandong province – residents are having a ball engaging in outdoor activities that are driving a spending surge in the local economy.

One of the highlights is in Yuhuang New Village, where a 1,000-mu (66.67 hectares) peach blossom garden is attracting tourists from all over the world.

People are having a wonderful time strolling through the garden, taking photos amid the blooming peach trees – creating idyllic scenes against the glorious backdrop of spring.

Elsewhere, along the Wuli River, the landscape is festooned with vibrantly colored crabapple flowers, drawing hordes of visitors for outings and flower viewings. The fragrant blossoms add to the charm of the spring scenery, enticing them to explore and enjoy nature's beauty.

Additionally, in the Yellow River National Wetland Park, families make the most of the sunny weather by going camping. Barbecues and cups of tea are enjoyed amid the tranquil forest setting, as people relish the warmth of the April sun.
