Yantai holds on-site observation meeting for high-quality development

From March 31 to April 2, the on-site observation event for the high-quality development of Yantai, Shandong province kicked off. A total of 26 major industrial projects and characteristic industrial parks from 13 districts and cities were observed on-site.
At the Zero Carbon Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Laishan district, Yantai, construction workers were erecting the main building of the factory.
Laishan district has laid out a total investment of 7.2 billion yuan ($995 million) for nine environmental protection projects, including Cambridge energy-saving intelligent manufacturing and the industry-university-research base of Jinan University.
By 2023, the output value of these projects had reached three billion yuan. In the marine equipment industry, around 16 sub-sectors focusing on the overall assembly and integration of semi-submersible platforms have been implemented for precise chain investment attraction, leading to the signing of agreements with 11 companies.

With a total investment of approximately $100 million, the Fengshu (Yantai) international intelligent manufacturing supply chain project in Laishan district focuses on the construction of an intelligent central kitchen and an automated cold chain distribution center.
It will also incorporate a world-class intelligent food manufacturing industrial park equipped with big data resource platforms and intelligent production platforms.
On March 31, in Yantai Huang-Bohai New Area, two projects, the China Resources high-end synthetic materials industrialization project and the Digital Intelligence (Optoelectronic Sensing) Industrial Park, were reviewed by the city.

The (Penglai) International Offshore Wind Power Port in China is the core manufacturing pilot area of the Penglai Marine Industrial Park, focusing on the development of the new energy industry.
