Points exchange enhances rural civilization in Shandong county

Qingyun county in Shandong province has implemented a points exchange activity for civilized practice to strengthen rural civilization and stimulate public participation.

In order to standardize the points exchange, staff at Qingyun county's New Era Civilized Practice Guidance Center conducted several rounds of volunteer point training courses and requested that each village establish a point management team responsible for recording the points' situation. After being entered into the management ledger, point cards are distributed to the volunteers.

Wu Jinlan, a volunteer for the new era civilized practice from Yanwu village, Qingyun county, exchanged the volunteer service points for this quarter at the points exchange supermarket in the western part of the village on March 22.

"Of course, volunteer service brings us joy from helping others, but we didn't expect to receive gifts! Next quarter, we will try to accumulate even more points," Wu said.

"Even 'small points' can showcase 'great civilization', making civilized practices more visible and tangible and giving each volunteer contribution more value.
