Qingyun county in Shandong province has been bolstering efforts to carry out the "technological transformation and quality improvement" project, focusing on industries including electrical equipment, sports equipment, and new energy materials such as lithium-sodium batteries. The comprehensive planning revolves around the technical requirements of businesses, production processes, supply chains, and development strategies.
The county has established a cultivation system for technology-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), high-tech enterprises, and technological leading enterprises.
A special team has been set up for technological transformation projects, with 88 companies included in the library of technology-oriented SMEs, to provide support and assistance. Progress in project technological transformation, investment, and inclusion in statistical data is inspected twice a month, followed by a so-called "red-yellow-blue-gold" badge management mechanism based on performance.
Qingyun county is also advancing cooperation between schools, enterprises, production, research, and the transformation of achievements, establishing schools and institutions including the College of Energy Storage Technology.
The county is also setting up various technological innovation platforms focused on advantageous and characteristic industries to improve the technological innovation and transformation capacity of enterprises.
