Chucun town in Weihai city, Shandong province, is bustling with agricultural activity this spring.
Over the past few years, Chucun town has made significant strides in developing its distinctive industries, actively exploring small yet specialized and optimal development models, thus leading to a thriving rural landscape.
Dianliyuan village in Chucun town is now a bustling hub, with workers diligently nurturing a variety of crops in their respective greenhouses. The air is filled with the sweet scent of strawberries, the promise of ripe persimmons, and the earthy aroma of fresh vegetables.
Years of relentless effort in developing leisure agriculture have not only enriched the village's rural landscape but also bolstered its collective and individual incomes. In the past week alone, the village has reaped the fruits of its labor, amassing over 30,000 yuan ($4,149) from daily visitors who came to pick the fresh produce.
