Agricultural experts teach farmers in fields in support of summer harvest

Now is a critical period for spring plowing and spring management. 

In order to assist farmers in field management, Dingtao district in Heze, Shandong province, has arranged for agricultural technicians to bring classroom instruction to the streets and fields to explain wheat seedling conditions and recent field management precautions to farmers, thereby helping to ensure a bountiful wheat harvest.

In Wangtang village, Rangu town, Dingtao district, agricultural experts provided guidance to villagers on wheat seedling conditions, soil moisture, weather conditions, and field management, including fertilization, watering, and pest control, tailored to different areas and seedlings. They also answered questions from villagers regarding wheat management issues.

"I planted the wheat a bit late, and there are some issues with it. After the experts' explanation, we will make some prevention and control efforts over the next few days and hopefully have a good harvest," said Niu Guangwei, a farmer in Wangtang village.

Meanwhile, Dingtao district has also arranged for agricultural technicians to conduct technical training on spring wheat field management in 11 townships, providing explanations in various areas, such as disease and pest control, weed prevention, and more, which received unanimous praise from locals.
