Weihai's Lingang district (Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District) has introduced a series of streamlined administrative processes, known as "one-stop" services, which have significantly accelerated project development for local businesses.

This initiative has received positive feedback from project leaders and entrepreneurs, who have praised its convenience and efficiency.

Lu Haiyin, project manager from Weihai Luhai Precision Machinery Co Ltd, expressed his satisfaction with the new system, stating, "I didn't expect that so many requirements could be fulfilled in just one go. It's truly convenient." During his visit to the Weihai Lingang District Government Service Center, he discovered that a single online application could cover five different government work items, including engineering planning permits, joint reviews of planning design schemes, construction permits, and more.

Lingang district aims to bridge the gap in project services by integrating various departmental procedures into a unified "one-stop" process, significantly reducing paperwork, time constraints, and the need for multiple visits. This approach is designed to ensure greater satisfaction for businesses as well as expedite project implementation.

The district has fully implemented its "five-in-one" construction project planning permit application, its "six-in-one" municipal facilities permit application, its "nine-in-one" construction permit application, and other integrated services under the "one-stop" model. A representative from the Lingang District Government Service Center explained, "By studying the actual needs of local projects, we have integrated multiple procedures involved in the approval process, providing integrated services to businesses."
