Multiple measures taken to ensure bountiful spring harvest

This year, the total intended spring sowing area in the city of Zhucheng, Shandong province is 19,580 hectares, including 9,753.3 hectares of oil crops, 3,726.7 hectares of vegetables, 3,620 hectares of grains, and 766.7 hectares of beans.
Zhucheng has made early deployments to manage this year's spring fields and carry out spring plowing. The city will provide tracking services at each critical stage of spring agricultural production and has implemented multiple measures to ensure a bountiful grain harvest.
To aid in the sowing of wheat, Zhucheng has improved technical services and strengthened the management of spring wheat fields. It has formulated and issued technical guidelines for the management of spring wheat and arranged for agricultural technicians to provide tailored technical guidance services.
This spring plowing season, Zhucheng has made early preparations for the storage and supply of agricultural machinery, spare parts, and fuel, and has strengthened support for agricultural machinery and equipment.

To date, a total of 28,000 types of agricultural machinery have been put into use in Zhucheng, including over 20,000 tractors and more than 7,000 types of seeding machinery.
Zhucheng has also carried out special inspections of the spring agricultural supply market, ensuring an adequate supply of high-quality agricultural supplies and preparing and reserving such supplies to ensure that spring agricultural production needs are met.
The city currently has a reserve of 40,000 metric tons of fertilizers, 1,100 tons of pesticides, and a reserve of 3,500 tons of corn and peanut seeds. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
