A South Korean agricultural market research team visited a strawberry production base in the city of Longkou, Shandong province on March 18 and engaged in discussions focusing on the cultivation and sale of local agricultural products.

The research team consisted of seven members, including Kim Dong-chul, chairman of the natural village of Korea, Tai Kwong A-tec-chairman Guo Yuan-pyo, and Park Se-dong, president of the China-Korea Intelligent Agricultural Technology Exchange Center.

They sampled freshly picked strawberries, toured the greenhouses, and engaged in detailed discussions with local officials.

During the tour, the research team learned about the base's scale, management and operation models, agricultural facilities, planting conditions and technology, and gained an in-depth understanding of strawberries in China, including seedlings, growth cycle, planting, packaging, transportation, and sales. They approved of the development concept of the strawberry base and its demonstrative role in driving agricultural development.

Park praised the quality of Longkou's strawberries and recognized the city's potential for exporting agricultural products. "Today, I tasted Longkou's strawberries for the first time. They are very sweet, fresh, and delicious. I learned that Longkou's strawberry industry has great development potential. Based on this industry, I believe that Longkou's agricultural products will have many opportunities to be exported to different countries in the future."
