21 achievements from Weihai recognized as provincial big data innovation applications

Weihai city has recently garnered provincial recognition for its 21 entries in the 2023 Shandong provincial big data innovation application achievements selection.

Among the 21 recognized achievements, 12 submissions from city units, such as Weihai's audit bureau, natural resources and planning bureau, and big data center, have been acknowledged as typical scenarios. Additionally, nine of these submissions from local companies were selected as outstanding solutions.

This selection had three major criteria: "digital government", "digital society", and the digital economy. These typical scenarios and outstanding solutions have played a significant role in the city's economic development, social governance, government services, and organizational operations. They have demonstrated strong exemplariness, innovation, and effectiveness.

In recent years, Weihai city has actively promoted the construction of an intelligent and efficient "digital government" and a convenient digital government service system. The city's big data center is committed to further advancing "Digital Weihai" construction, with a focus on technological innovation, urban governance, and green low-carbon initiatives. These efforts aim to create more typical innovative application scenarios, which will ultimately empower high-quality economic and social development.
