Shandong county reaps success through rural vitalization

Harvest season has begun for the greenhouse rapeseed in Yuange village, Chengwu county, Shandong, with villagers busy harvesting and packaging the vegetable before shipping it around the country.

In order to achieve common prosperity for its residents, Yuange village is actively exploring a profit-sharing model integrating the village Party, farmers and village collectives. By using greenhouses, farmers can harvest eight crops of rapeseed per year, increasing the land's per-mu (approximately 0.067 hectares) income from 1,500 yuan ($208.38) to 15,000 yuan. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
