With the weather gradually getting warmer, it is a busy time for the many farmers managing the fruit trees in Dingtao district, Heze, Shandong province.
The local government has also established agricultural technology service teams, bringing technical knowledge to the forefront of production and increasing farmer's incomes.
Although it is early spring, at the greenhouse of the Sunshine Rose Planting Base in Yuantang village, Maji town, Dingtai district, farmers are busy shuttling back and forth under the grape racks, carrying out the first round of orchard disinfection and pest control work in order to make the grapes greener and safer.
"Grapevines not only need to be pruned, but also require watering and fertilization in spring. Every step is crucial," said Diao Haiyun, a grape grower from Yuantang village.
At the same time, the forestry service center of Dingtai district has also begun offering agricultural technology classes to farmers.
By combining theory with practical application, they are providing hands-on and face-to-face instruction to farmers, helping them solve various problems encountered during the planting process and helping ensure a bountiful grape harvest this year. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
