Intl guests embrace Chinese paper-cutting art at cultural heritage workshop
In an engaging cultural exchange, international visitors from countries like Tanzania and Sudan recently participated in a paper-cutting workshop in Xiajin county of Yantai, Shandong province.

The session introduced the guests to the fundamental patterns of paper-cutting, including crescent, serrated, and floral designs. It also presented a variety of artworks that celebrate local landscapes and the Chinese zodiac.

Inspired by the craft's beauty and complexity, the guests were keen to create their own paper-cutting pieces. Under the expert guidance of the workshop's instructor, they embarked on crafting simple yet meaningful designs out of red paper.
