Qihe grows trees along Yellow River

Over 100 volunteers in Qihe county, Shandong province, recently planted trees at the silt deposit area along the Yellow River in Doufuwo village. The county has in recent years carried out artificial afforestation and degraded forest restoration projects to improve the ecological functions of the Yellow River. Since the winter of 2023, Qihe has planted 5,300 mu (353.33 hectares) of trees and repaired over 30,000 mu of degraded forests. (Edited by Gong Jun)
