With the sky brightened by fluttering flags and red lanterns, and the ground alive with dragon and lion dances, yangko (a popular rural folk dance) and dry boat performances, the Shandong Rural Culture and Tourism Festival brought an explosion of color and energy to Zhuliu village, Laishan district, in Shandong's Yantai, on March 10.
Attendees enjoyed a rich tapestry of activities including folk customs parades, cultural tourism check-ins, heritage treasure hunts, the Yellow River grand market, and breathtaking performances.
The festival showcased an array of intangible cultural heritage crafts such as Yantai paper-cutting, Jiaodong's floral buns, handmade incense, patchwork, ancient shipbuilding, fabric dyeing, button knotting, and baked paintings.
Moreover, it featured premium agricultural and tourism products such as fresh flowers and various types of mushrooms, drawing a bustling crowd and creating an unforgettable atmosphere in Zhuliu village. Check out the video for more details. (Edited by Cai Liting)
