As the spring plowing and sowing season approaches, the Dong'e county agriculture and rural affairs bureau has arranged for over 20 agricultural technology experts to provide agricultural technical services to farmers.
"This year, I have planted about 106.67 hectares of wheat, and it's time for the green shoots to emerge. The technical staff have provided comprehensive guidance on various aspects of wheat management, such as irrigation, fertilization, and pest control. I have learned a lot and am confident that we will see a successful summer grain harvest," said Liu Zongjun, director of a family farm.
The agricultural machinery market is also experiencing a peak in production and sales. Many farmers have purchased agricultural machinery at the market earlier than expected, igniting a fervor for spring plowing and sowing.
"I bought a 1,500-horsepower tractor last year, which operated smoothly. This year, I plan to buy a 1,600-horsepower one," said a villager named Zheng Keshun.
Inside the Shangtian Agricultural Machinery Cooperative in Jianglou town, agricultural machinery technicians are conducting thorough inspections on machinery that has been dormant for months, ensuring they are in working condition.
Furthermore, technical staff from the county agriculture and rural affairs bureau are imparting maintenance knowledge to machinery operators, ensuring they can drive and operate the machinery safely.
In addition, Dong'e county is arranging for agricultural machinery supervision personnel to publicize policies related to spring farming production and increase farmers' enthusiasm for spring farming. (Edited by Yang Yi)
