Relying on its solid agricultural foundation, abundant water resources and fertile soil in surrounding areas, Zhucheng city in Weifang, Shandong province has organized for farmers to build greenhouses and cultivate economically valuable crops such as tomatoes, green beans, and cucumbers.

The initiative has led to the establishment of vegetable brands like "Xiyuan green beans", "Xiyuan tomatoes", and "Jingezhuang cucumbers", helping increase farmers' incomes and prosperity.

To help farmers sell fresh vegetables, Zhucheng city has established four vegetable trading markets in Shiqiaozi town, providing comprehensive coverage for local vegetable farmers. This initiative not only enables nearby villagers to purchase fresh vegetables and fruits but also makes it easier for farmers to sell their own produce.

In addition to traditional sales channels, Zhucheng city has expanded into new models such as supermarket partnerships, livestreaming and e-commerce, and community group purchases.

In the Jingezhuang community of Shiqiaozi town, a cooperative integrating vegetable cultivation, processing, storage, and sales has been established. In addition to purchasing local vegetables, the cooperative also sells over 20 processed vegetable varieties to multiple enterprises, including Baisheng Supermarket and Futon Automobile.

In recent years, Zhucheng has driven the development of characteristic advantageous industries, fostered new types of operating entities such as cooperatives and leading agricultural enterprises, and broadened channels for increasing rural residents' incomes. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
