Weihai's Lingang district active in attracting investment for high-quality development

The Weihai International Port Economic and Technological Development District (Lingang district) in Weihai, Shandong province, is on the move, with its investment promotion teams working tirelessly to attract major projects across the country.

Since last year, Lingang district has formed nine professional investment promotion teams, successfully attracting projects such as one of the world's top 500 companies, German ZF's Automotive Safety Systems, the Weihai branch of the AiNstec Computing Power Center, and the PIESAT Remote Sensing Satellite project to settle there, injecting vitality into the economic development of the entire district.

This year, the district is prioritizing new materials, alternative energy equipment, digital economy, and pharmaceuticals. It is implementing targeted strategies to speed up the implementation of 57 industrial chain projects.

Additionally, Lingang district is refining its investment promotion approach, optimizing its teams, and establishing regular contacts with overseas institutions to create a powerful combination of investment initiatives. It compiles investment promotion manuals, sets up foreign investment promotion websites, and plans to carry out various forms of publicity, themed promotion, and project negotiations. (Edited by Jiang Ting)
