Enterprises in Laiwu district, Jinan, Shandong province, have been working at full capacity to facilitate a soaring start to the year.
The Shandong Bensu Elevator Co is concentrating all its efforts on a second batch of elevator orders from Uzbekistan. With high quality products and efficient services, Bensu has secured a considerable share in China's middle and high-end markets and collaborated with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
The elevator maker is contracted to deliver over 800 products in the first quarter to its customers both at home and abroad.
Another local enterprise, Shandong Jiujia Fastener Co, has also been working at full capacity. This year, Jiujia is expected to generate 300 million yuan ($41.69 million) in output, said Ju Yu, vice-general manager of the company.
Ju also revealed that Jiujia will start constructing its seventh manufacturing workshop, which will greatly improve the company's production capacity.
With annual production of 5 metric tons of fasteners, Jiujia is one of China's largest fastener manufacturers. Mainly used for vehicles, rail transit, and high-end manufacturing, Jiujia-made fasteners are sold in over 20 provinces as well as overseas markets such as Hungary, the US, and Germany.
