In recent years, Lanshan district of Linyi city, located in East China's Shandong province, has vigorously struck out on the path towards the integrated development of attracting foreign investments and going abroad.

One great example of this is Ma Shihu, general manager of Sanshisanke E-commerce (Shandong) Group Co Ltd, who paid a visit to Germany several years ago.

While there, he discovered a juice manufacturer whose sales of one juice ranked among the top three in the country, but it had not yet gone into the Chinese market.

Putting together a full foreign trade service plan, Ma succeeded in importing the juice into China through bonded cross-border trade e-commerce.

As a direct result, over the years products of the German manufacturer have achieved exponential sales success in China.

Overall, Lanshan's businesses have continued to expand their overseas markets.

By attending overseas exhibitions, Li Mei, an entrepreneur from the local China International Hotel Supplies City, found out that foreign businesses had a high demand for cups, kettles and other related products, especially from high and mid-grade brands.

Li Mei then redefined the product design positioning, making her products win the favor of foreign investors.

At present, Li's business has expanded to countries and regions such as Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
