Yantai's dynamic resumption after Spring Festival Holiday
After the Spring Festival holiday, Yantai has experienced a comprehensive return to work and production.
Key project construction sites are alive with activity, while government service halls are bustling and well-organized. The city's departments and enterprises are working diligently to meet deadlines and boost production, aiming for a successful start to the year.
On Feb 18, the first day back to work after the Spring Festival holiday, employees in Laishan district enthusiastically engaged in their work, initiating new projects and promoting high-quality development in various sectors.
All service windows were open, and staff members swiftly transitioned from holiday mode to providing efficient and high-quality government services with enthusiasm and practicality.

This year, Laishan district will continue to deepen the reform of one-stop acceptance, optimize its assistance and agency services, promote immediate construction upon land acquisition, and ensure efficient project construction, business registration, and approval services.
Bao Hua, director of the Management Committee of the Huang-Bohai New Area, highlighted the ambition for the new area to set benchmarks among national-level development zones and spearhead Yantai's growth.
The goal is to ensure that the main economic indicators grow by 1-2 percentage points higher than the city's average and to achieve "three doublings" by 2035. By strengthening five leading industries and making breakthroughs in new energy storage and semiconductor industries, the new area aims to contribute significantly to the city's overall development.

In Longkou, ranked eighth among China's top 100 counties and first in Shandong, efforts are being made to ensure a strong and stable start of the year's first quarter. With proactive planning and execution of project construction and safety protocols, Longkou ensures the smooth advancement of projects post-Spring Festival.
This year, Longkou is spotlighting seven projects as major Shandong province initiatives for 2024, alongside 12 projects focused on green, low-carbon, and high-quality growth, and 50 projects recognized as city-level key ventures in Yantai for 2024. This underscores the city's dedication to high-quality development and innovation. (Edited by Cai Liting)
