Villages in Laiwu district compose songs to eulogize new life

Laiwu district in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, organized activities themed on village songs during the 2024 Spring Festival Shandong Rural Culture and Tourism Festival.

The songs are composed by local villages based on their respective cultures, histories and development in an effort to showcase their unique character.

For example, Zhouwangxu village's song highlights local Suran Mountain culture and dances, Xiniuquan village focuses on its Red resources, and Funingjie village's song blends its history, culture, and folk customs. (Edited by Gong Jun)
