As a significant cultural and tourism initiative for Shandong in the new year, the ancient city aims to contribute to the premium development of the region's cultural and tourism industry.
Originally part of the 36 commanderies – military and administrative districts – of the Qin Dynasty (221-206 BC), Langya commandery now leaves its cultural legacy in places like Qingdao, Zhucheng and Linyi cities. It has become an alternate name for Linyi in Shandong.

Langya Ancient City distinguishes itself as a large-scale cultural and tourism project, featuring seven enchanting scenes – including a trade zone, an old street zone and an art zone. The layout is designed to provide visitors with a panoramic view of Linyi's 3,000 year history.
This cultural and tourism landmark offers immersive experiences, interactive fun and a variety of activities, making it a very special destination.
During the opening ceremony, Langya Ancient City's spokesperson announced the meticulous preparations made for a cultural and tourism feast during the upcoming Spring Festival. They feature over 100 daily performances, delicious local cuisine, markets and more. (Edited by Zhou Yunlai)
