Shandong's Ningjin county excels in specialized industries

Ningjin county in Dezhou city – located in East China's Shandong province – is widely said to have made remarkable achievements in developing its metal machinery manufacturing and furniture manufacturing sectors as major industries.

These industries are known thereabouts as "One Metal and One Wood" and have created three regional public brands: Ningjin Furniture, Ningjin Fitness Equipment and Ningjin Elevator.

Ningjin county has also won several national and provincial honors. It's been named as a National Sports Industry Demonstration Base, the Hometown of Chinese Solid Wood Furniture and recognized as a China Fitness Equipment Production Base.
