Measures undertaken to ensure Mount Tai scenic area's power
With the approach of the Spring Festival, staff from utility State Grid Tai'an Electric Power Company – located in Tai'an city in East China's Shandong province – have undertaken measures to ensure the safe and smooth use of power in the Mount Tai scenic area.
At the top of the area, at an altitude of 1,545 meters, staff recently went from door to door to shops and residences, promoting safe electricity use and assisting the folks there to inspect their indoor wiring.
They also helped identify electricity demand and power loads in the area – conducting inspections of surrounding high and low-voltage lines, distribution rooms and main power cabinets.
To manage the overall situation, four power distribution lines, eight ring main units and two power distribution rooms in the Mount Tai scenic area – as well as intelligent sensing devices covering water immersion, smoke, temperature spikes and humidity – have now been installed. These perform real-time monitoring of equipment operation data.
Moreover, the utility has joined hands with the local government to establish a service station in the scenic area, making it available for resident shops to handle their water, electricity, gas and heating. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
